There is currently no cure or an exact cause of rosacea but you can manage its symptoms with IPL treatments and good skincare.
The beam of light targets the blood vessels which are causing the redness. The vessels are damaged and the body will break them down naturally. All of my clients with rosacea report that the redness is their main cause of concern and it deeply affects their confidence.
We will work together to improve your skins health and with a course of IPL, you can become happier being in your own skin.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) can be used to treat acne as it emits a light which reduces acne causing bacteria, inflammation and the redness caused by breakouts. It can also improve skin texture and tone as well as some acne scarring. It is important to follow the aftercare given such as wearing SPF daily to protect your skin.
This treatment can be done on other areas such as the back too!

My IPL Journey - Acne
Before my first IPL treatment
I've struggled with acne for many years, starting from my teens and I tried everything to try and get rid of it. As I hit my 30s, my skin was worse than ever and being in the beauty industry myself, it was embarrassing giving skincare advice when I was struggling with my own skin.
My First Treatment
How does it feel?
First I was given a through consultation to ensure it was safe for treatment to go ahead, then I had to have a patch test a few days before treatment could go ahead. My skin was cleansed to remove any make up, skincare, dirt and oils then cool gel was applied. The IPL was then used on my skin to see what reaction my skin would have, the zaps felt hot but were fast and then my skin was cooled. A patch test is important to minimise the risk of burns, pigmentation and so the correct settings are used during a full treatment.

This photo is taken one week after one IPL treatment for acne. You can see that the skin has less inflammation already and the breakouts have gotten smaller.

For someone who has battled with acne for around 20 years, I am finally proud and confident to be in my own skin! I had 4 treatments of IPL for acne and the difference it has made is incredible.
I still get the odd hormonal spot now and again but my skin has improved so much since starting treatment.

IPL is a great way to boost collagen levels and to reverse the effect of sun damage to your skin. During the treatment, short pulses of light target discoloured areas of the skin & stimulate the fibroblast cells, which produce collagen and elastin. This treatment improves skin texture and reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. A course of 4-6 treatments is recommended for best results.

Eliminiating discolouration
This lady spent many years in Spain and didn't use SPF at all! Her skin suffered sun damage which lead to the yellow tinge on her skin plus more lines and wrinkles. I carried out 5 IPL treatments on her, as you can see the final results are incredible!

This lady reached out to me as she had a wedding to attend and wanted to look her best! We started a course of IPL treatments for collagen stimulation and the results left her with visibly firmer. plumper and smoother skin after just 6 treatments.
Firming
IPL skin rejuvenation doesn't just have to be carried out on the face, it can be used on your hands, neck and decollete too! Other areas may also be able to be treated just ask! This is before and after 5 treatments of IPL for collagen stimulation on the neck. A lot of people neglect their neck and don't apply skincare or SPF which can lead to crepey looking skin.
Thread/Spider Vein Treatments
There are two options for treating thread/spider veins at HAZE Beauty and the treatment will be determined by the treatment area.
For the face you would need IPL treatment. During this treatment a beam of light will target the blood vessel, using heat to damage the vessel walls. The body will then break down the vessel naturally and the appearance of the veins will improve. A course of treatments may be required and full results may be seen after 6-8 weeks. For thread/spider veins on the legs you will need schlerotherapy treatment. A prescribed chemical solution is injected into the veins that causes damage to the veins lining and cause it to ineffective. The body will then naturally break them down and you may need further treatments. You will need to wear pressure stockings for 21 days after treatment and follow aftercare instructions for best results. Prices from £100

Bio RePeel is suitable for even the most sensitive skin and benefits from having little to no downtime and being more comfortable then typical chemical peels. Its safe to have this treatment all year round (with use of SPF). It can help with acne, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture and signs of aging. A treatment plan of 4-6 sessions spaced 7-10 days apart is recommended for best results.

Clinicare Chemical Peel
A targeted facial with the application of a chemical peel to exfoliate the skin which can help with acne, scarring, pigmentation or dull, uneven skin. Includes a double cleanse, tone, face mask, moisturise and SPF.
It is recommended for uneven skin texture, hyper-pigmentation, sun damage and brightening your skin which can reduce the signs of aging.
You will need to follow aftercare given such as wearing SPF 50 and avoiding sunlight exposure. A treatment plan of 4-6 sessions is recommended, the frequency of treatments (1-4 weeks) will be determined by following your bespoke treatment plan.

An effective micro needling treatment to improve skin quality and texture by stimulating collagen production. Includes a double cleanse, with your choice of Clinicare serum which is micro-needled into the skin, tone, mask to hydrate and soothe the skin, moisturise and SPF. Your choice of clinicare serum will be applied and microneedled in using a sterile, single use cartridge. Serums to choose from are Glow - for pigmentation, age spots and dull tired skin. Profhilo bio remodelling - £200 (course of 2 recommended) can be used for the lower half of face, neck, chest or hands to help with hydration and for anti ageing.
Sclerotherapy is to treat spider/thread veins in the legs. A prescribed medication is injected into the affected veins which causes the inner walls of the treated veins to scar. Once the blood is unable to flow freely through the veins the body will start to break it down and the veins should disappear. There will be lots of bruising after treatment for several weeks and you will need to wear pressure stockings for 2 weeks. This treatment can take several months for the full result and sometimes more than one treatment may be necessary.

HAZE Beauty is owned and run by Becky Arnold from her home based treatment room in Bournemouth.
She started in the beauty industry in 2022 and has dedicated herself to undertaking lots of training to become the incredible beauty therapist she is now.
In 2023 Becky started her aesthetics journey and is able to offer a variety of aesthetic treatments such as skin boosters, anti wrinkle treatments, vitamin injections, chemical peels, micro-needling, derma-planing and micro-sclerotherapy (thread and spider vein removal on legs).
In 2024 she has qualified as a level 4 beauty therapist in laser and light treatments and is now able to carry out IPL hair removal and rejuvenation treatments using a medical grade Lynton device.
In 2024 she was proud to make the finals of many awards such as Beauty Salon of the Year and Local Salon of the Year in the The English Hair & Beauty Awards!!
In July 2024 she won the Beauty Therapist of the Year 2024 award and now has a lovely trophy on display.

Booking Terms & Conditions
Booking
Delivering the best treatments to you is my first priority and that is why I kindly ask for your cooperation with the cancellation policy. To secure your booking appointment, a booking fee of 50% is required, which will then be deducted from your treatment cost on the day. This is payable either using my booking system or by bank transfer.
Cancellation
If you need to reschedule your treatment you must contact me 48 hours before the appointment. If you fail to give 48 hours notice or no show then the booking fee will be forfeited. If this happens on more than one occasion then I reserve the right to refuse to let you re-book.
Late Arrival
I have set aside dedicated time for your appointment so please ensure you arrive on time. If you arrive late then it will cut into your treatment time and you will still be charged the full cost.
No Show Policy
You will be considered as a no show if you miss your appointment without providing any prior notice or arriving excessively late. You will lose your full booking fee and may be blocked from using the booking system in the future.
I am a small business and having last minute cancellations, continuous rescheduled appointments & no shows deeply affects my income. Please help me by following the booking T&Cs.
